This blog was created in 2011 for discussion purposes only and does not represent the official views of my employer.  Any views expressed are mine only.

As Librarian at Selwyn College Cambridge, I am responsible for an undergraduate collection of books and DVDs, a special collection of books about Victorian church and missionary history, and the College Archives.

From 2006-2011 I was Project Manager of ebooks@cambridge and now chair the ebooks Advisory Group.  Ebooks, publishing developments and collaborative working initiatives remain key interests.

I've worked in other Cambridge academic and public libraries, in BBC tv & radio and in book publishing.

Other stuff I've done includes appearing onstage as a German nightclub singer, sailing a boat single-handed across Grafham Water, bringing up a couple of splendid children and winning the egg and spoon race (junior division).  I like cats, curry and John Lennon.
